A MAZE.:
A MAZE. celebrates the convergence of computer games and art by combining the courage to experiment and the joy of playing. A MAZE. is more than just a festival - it is both a series of events and a platform for interdisciplinary exchange. Creative people are encouraged to break with conventional computer games and go beyond established game concepts.
A MAZE. is an international co-operative label. It initiates and curates exhibitions, workshops, talk shows and club events on the merger of computer games and new media art. The first A MAZE. took place in January 2008 in Berlin. All of the projects implemented since then have revolved around the production and presentation of art, culture and science. A MAZE. is the confluence of joy with critical analysis.
